Shahid Turning Producer?

Shahid Kapoor is on a roll these days. The actor has a host of projects in his kitty- Shandaar, Udta Punjab, Farzi and Vishal Bhardwaj’s next.
And now we hear that if all goes well, Shahid will co-produce a film with his friend Mubina Rattonsey. 
Bejoy Nambiar who is currently directing Amitabh Bachchan-Farhan Akhtar starrer Wazir will wield the megaphone.
The trio had planned this film many years ago, but for reasons best known to them, the film failed to kick off. Then Bejoy faced two consecutive flops in David and Shaitaan, while Shahids career went South. And Mubina decided to wait for a bit till the tables turned.
Now that Shahids career has begun to show an upward swing after Haider, its perhaps the right time for the ambitious threesome to take the plunge.
When contacted, Bejoy did not deny the story. All he would say was, "Mubina, Shahid and I were supposed to do a project long time ago, but that didnt work out. We are still keen to work together. I can't say anything more on this. At this point of time, I am concentrating only on completing Wazir."
